Jon is an Australian and New Zealand Patent Attorney with over 20 years of experience advising clients on protecting and leveraging innovation to achieve commercial outcomes. His practice spans chemistry and life‑sciences technologies, including pharmaceuticals, medical technologies, materials science, biotechnology and chemical processes, and he also brings valuable experience supporting clients in mining, oil and gas, and manufacturing sectors.
Throughout his career, Jon has worked with a broad range of clients, from small‑to‑medium enterprises to multinational companies, advising across the full spectrum of Australian and New Zealand patent practice. His work is consistently focused on delivering practical, commercially aligned IP strategies, and he has also worked closely with leading Australian universities to protect and commercialise their intellectual property both locally and internationally.
