Keisuke is a qualified Japanese Patent Attorney and is fluent in Japanese. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) and a Master of Science (Chemical Sciences and Engineering) both from Hokkaido University. Keisuke is also a co-author of several journal publications for research relating to hybrid inorganic–organic perovskites.
Prior to joining Laminar IP, Keisuke worked in Japan for a number of years in the intellectual property departments of Honda Motor Co. Ltd and Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation and was responsible for drafting patent specifications, prosecution of patent applications domestically and internationally, and patent portfolio management. Keisuke also worked in one of Japan’s leading boutique IP firms where he assisted clients on patent matters across a broad range of technologies and industries, including industrial gas, chemical engineering, semiconductor manufacturing, motorcycles, hydrogen vehicles, electric cars, autonomous driving, internal combustion engines, automotive, business models, video games, fintech, metaverse, VR/AR, blockchain, AI, image processing, information technology, medical imaging, X-ray apparatuses, electrical and electronics.
Keisuke seeks to be a registered patent attorney in Australia and New Zealand. Keisuke is passionate about fostering closer relations with Asia-Pacific clients, particularly those from Japan, to protect their intellectual property assets in Australia and New Zealand.
