Jiarne is a founding partner of Laminar IP.
Jiarne holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechatronics) degree with Honours from the University of Sydney. His Honours thesis was on the subject of Microstructured Polymer Optical Fibres (MPOF).
Jiarne has experience in a wide variety of technologies and industries, including mining, household appliances, hand-tools, sports equipment, optical fibre, medical devices, transport and logistics, building and construction, power generation, oil and gas, automation and robotics, consumer products and HVAC systems.
Prior to joining Laminar IP, Jiarne was a Senior Associate at a leading Australian IP firm where he assisted local and overseas clients in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications. He was also actively involved in patent opposition and infringement matters.
